Margaret Wardell

The family announces the passing of Margaret Wardell of Brantford, Ontario, on September 4, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Margaret Church; her parents-in-law, Alfred and Margaret Silverthorne; her siblings, Janet Church, Linda Miedema, John Church, and Earl Church; and her siblings-in-law, Lillian Robinson, Marion Kindree, Pat Jamieson, Gord Kindree, Jim Cookson, Larry Silverthorne, and Joe O'Reilly. Margaret is survived by her husband, George Wardell; her children, Glenn Wardell and Lynn Wardell Aitchison (Robert Aitchison); her grandchildren, Dustin (Stephanie), Jordan, Jacob (Ashley), Nakita (Connor), Jarrod, and Clinton; her great-grandchildren, Maisie, Everett, Eden, Elliot, and Elias; her sister, Joan Church; her siblings-in-law, Jay, Carol Hoover, Shirley Cookson, Linda Silverthorne, and Russ Robinson; and her mother-in-law, Annie Wardell. The family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton in Margaret's memory.
