Jon Rodney Dargie (Jack)

Jon Rodney Dargie, known as Jack, was born on December 19, 1938, and passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 7, 2026, at the age of 87, following a long and courageous battle with kidney and heart disease. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marilyn, and his son, Clark. Jon is lovingly remembered by his sons, Tom (Isabel), Jason (Tammy), and Brett, along with his 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy. A dedicated public servant, Jon served in the military before embarking on a distinguished career as a police officer in Brantford and later working at City Hall. He was a devoted Christian and served on the board of Rawdon Street Baptist Church. Visitation will take place at Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on September 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and September 14 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM.
