Jochen Alvin Max Zieschang

Jochen Alvin Max Zieschang passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 69 years and 10 months, his children Jochen Zieschang and his wife Claudette, Christine Huff and her husband Gregory, Janette Vos and her husband Gary, and Markus Zieschang and his wife Wende. Jochen was also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Jochen Jr and his wife Mei Lu, Alisha and her husband Stuart, Warren, Rebecca and her husband Carlo, Richard and his husband Danny, Ethan and his wife Kassie, Emily and her husband Derek, Kirsten and her husband Lucas, Kurtis and his wife Brie, and Cole, as well as his 10 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Alaina, Olivia, Antonio, Aveah, Stefano, Elora, Kayden, Kinsley, and Penelope. He is also survived by his sister Inge Lohndorf and brother Klaus Zieschang, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Thorpes Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 11 a.m., with visiting beginning an hour prior at 10 a.m.
