Joan Holland

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Holland of Brantford, Ontario, who departed this life on October 11, 2026, at the age of 86. Joan was born on May 20, 1940. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy, and her grandchildren, Jeshua (Caroline), Shannelle, Brielle (Mitch), Nolan (Brietta), Charissa (Kevin), Rachel (Patrick), Jesiah, Shyann, Gabriella (Clader), Ben (Annora), Shyanne, and Sierra. Additionally, she was predeceased by her great-grandchildren, Ruth, Willow, Mexihano, Lillijana, Brynlee, Ernie, Browynn, Lochryn, Oliver, Paisley, Calvin, Louise, Elliott, Skyler, and Embrey; her parents, Roy Crowder and Irene Crowder; and her brother, Douglas. Joan is survived by her children, Deborah Vogt, Patricia Cruickshank (Donald), Rory Holland, and Monty Holland (Michelle), as well as her siblings, Gayle Hudson, Susanne Sutherland (John), and Lynda Easterbrook (Harry). She is also survived by many other family members and friends. Visitation took place on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, located at 88 Brant Ave, Brantford, ON N3T3H3. A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location, followed by a graveside service at Stenabaugh Cemetery at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
