Jisko Van Bruggen of Brantford, Ontario, was born on June 17, 1945, and died on August 13, 2026, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his sister Joanne. He is survived by his children Dennis Van Bruggen, Lisa Van Bruggen and Colin Newell; his grandchildren Peter Newell and Anna Newell; his close friend Faith Cantlon; his siblings Clare Smith, George, Judy Van Bruggen, Nancy and Kerry Game; and his former spouse Terry Van Bruggen. A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hope Christian Reformed Church, 64 Buchanan Crescent, Brantford, ON N3P 2A5.
