Jeanie Marie Balicki
Jeanie Marie Balicki passed away surrounded by loved ones at Hamilton General Hospital on April 26, 2026, at the age of 66. She was the loving wife of Gordon Balicki for 36 years. Jeanie was predeceased by her two children Kristen Marie Malcolm (2019) and John Douglas Malcolm (2011), as well as her parents Margaret (nee Bernarski) and Michael Kalka, and her brothers Michael and Anthony, and sister Patricia. She is survived by her grandchildren Leah, Megan, Noah, Caden, Evan, and Randy, two of her siblings Valarie Powell and Charles Kalka, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and her loyal companion Leroy. The family would like to extend deep gratitude to Jeanie's Doctors and Nurses at Hamilton General Hospital. Family and friends will be received at Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St. Brantford, On. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 10am-12pm. A Memorial Service will take place in the funeral home chapel following visitation at 12pm with refreshment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeanie may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, CNIB, or Hamilton McMaster Children's Hospital.
