James Edward Morrison (Jim)

James Edward Morrison, known to many as Jim, passed away suddenly on August 6, 2026, at the age of 58. He will be deeply missed by his family, including his wife Melissa, children Holly, Emily, and Bailey, as well as his younger brother Jeff and sister Lisa. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Marilyn Morrison, who passed away in 2024 and 2025, respectively. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Josh, Riley, Elliot, Jake, and Noah, who affectionately knew him as 'uncle Jim'. Jim's love for his family and his passion for sports, particularly the Toronto Maple Leafs, will be remembered by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on August 23rd from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Dunsdon Legion in Brantford, where attendees are invited to wear their favourite sports gear in honour of Jim's love for sports.
