Harvey Shmuir Jr.

Harvey Shmuir Jr. passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce, parents Harvey Shmuir Sr. and Emeline Shmuir, brother Brian Shmuir, and sister Linda Shmuir. Harvey is survived by his brother John Shmuir, sons Kurt and Bill Shmuir, grandchildren Cassian and Jackson, sister-in-law Gail, nieces Samantha and Teresa, nephew Derek, and extended family. A 35-year employee of Hussman's Refrigeration, Harvey was a diligent and independent individual. He had a special fondness for animals, including his pets Bella and Elliot. Harvey was an accomplished athlete, known for his swimming and football skills. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family extends their gratitude to caregiver Emmanuel, Paramed, doctors, and the staff at Brantford General Hospital.
