Ginger (nee Barnes) MITCHELL

Ginger Anne Mitchell, nee Barnes, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Brantford General Hospital on July 2, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. As an educator and advocate for the rights of marginalized people, Ginger made a lasting impact. She is survived by her children, Michael, Annette, Charlie, Cyndi, and Lisa, as well as her grandchildren, Zack, Jillian, and Ronnie. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre. A tree will be planted in her memory in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
