Gina CAFAZZO

Gina Cafazzo passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Brantford General Hospital on July 8, 2026, at the age of 87. She is reunited with her beloved husband Donato, as well as her previous husbands Antonio Palmisano and Antonio Liberati, and her grandson Jeremiah Royce. Gina is lovingly remembered by her children, Maryellen MacLellan and her husband Rod, Joseph Palmisano, and her stepchildren Antonietta Cafazzo-Sanders, Diana Cafazzo and her husband Paul Bagnell, and Joseph Cafazzo and his wife Vivian. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, including Miranda Lauwerier and her husband Adam, Kelsie MacLellan and her husband Jon Wong-Hinch, as well as her step-grandchildren Donny Sanders and his wife Laura Pomeroy, Benjamin Sanders and his wife Monika Dulat, Aidan Cafazzo, Ciara Cafazzo, and Mark Bagnell. Gina was also a proud great-grandmother of Adler Lauwerier, Braxton Lauwerier, Jolene Lauwerier, Daphne Wong-Hinch, and Rory Wong-Hinch, and step-great-grandmother of Gordon MacEroy and Leo Sanders. Born in Monopoli, Italy, Gina later relocated to Canada where she built a full and successful life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found strength in her Catholic faith and took great pleasure in gardening, cooking, and sharing her Italian heritage with her family.
