Gary James STAATS

Gary James Staats passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Beverley Staats and loving father of Jennifer and Lesley Staats. Gary was predeceased by his siblings, Carin Simpson, Dennis Staats, and Debra Ashall. He will be deeply missed by his much loved grandchildren, Christopher, Aidan, Maxwell, Alyssa, and Jeremy, as well as his nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the McCleister Funeral Home, located at 495 Park Road North, Brantford, Ontario, for a memorial reception on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hockey Canada Foundation (Dreams Come True) would be gratefully appreciated.
