Frank BALAZS

Frank Balazs passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the age of 78. He was the loving husband of Nancy Balazs for 37 years. Frank was the beloved father of Shanna Dunlop and her husband Bill, and Drew Balazs and his wife Maria. He was a much loved and very proud Papa of Keegan. Frank is survived by his brothers Steve and his wife Chris, and Joe. He was predeceased by his sister Rosemary. Frank will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. After 37 and a half years with the Brantford Police Service, Frank retired, and was a nominee for the 2003 Brantford Citizen of the Year. In keeping with Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course, 320 Balmoral Drive, Brantford, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to McCleister Funeral Home. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice in memory of Frank.
