Evelyn Paulette "Polly" Doxtador

Evelyn Paulette 'Polly' Doxtador passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the age of 74, surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her spouse Sy Johnson, infant daughter Tannis Dawn, parents Grace (Jamieson) and Franklin Doxtador, siblings Larry, Wesley, Laura, Victoria, Frank Jr., and medicine friend April Butler. Evelyn is survived by siblings Sandra, Shane (Sharon), Virginia (Rick), Francine, Steven, Dixie (Bill), Stacey, and Dan; special niece and family, Chammy (Mark), Jessica, Stuart (Holeigh), and Tim; special grandchildren, Leila, Ari, Lucas, and Theron; and Clanmother, Mary Sandy. She will also be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, and their families. Evelyn will be resting at her home, 3644 River Range, Ohsweken, after 6 p.m. on Friday, with a wake on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Funeral Service and Burial were held at Sour Springs Longhouse on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. Arrangements were made by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken.
