Eva Pearl Mead (nee Lovell)

Eva Pearl Mead, nee Lovell, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved mother of Elaine Urbanowicz, Eileen Mead, and Emily Hanly, and cherished grandmother of Zoe, Falyn, Ezra, Eden, Bria, and Vera. Eva was also the loving sister of Anne Rath and was predeceased by her husband Ernest Mead and parents George and Gwendolyn Lovell. A dedicated school teacher and devoted homemaker, Eva found joy in caring for her family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Toll Funeral Home, with visitation on August 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Sydenham United Church would be appreciated.
