Dwain Kevin Taylor

Dwain Kevin Taylor passed away on August 12, 2026, at Brantford General Hospital at the age of 65 after battling pulmonary fibrosis, COPD, and lung cancer. He was a husband to Doreen, father to Ben (Amber), Jessica, and Mary, and adoptive father to Sayra, Zacoya, Evelyn and her daughter Amelia. He was a grandfather to Willow and a son of Flora and the late Ben, who died in August 2005. He is survived by his brothers Rick (married to Sarah) and Glenn (married to Joanne), his sister Deanna (married to Al), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and members of the Vanni and Taylor families. Dwain enjoyed golf and cared for his pets. Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at the R.C.L. Dunsdon Branch, 461 9 Tollgate Road, Brantford on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a sharing of memories at 7 p.m. The family requests donations in his memory to a trust account for Doreen or to the Brant County SPCA, which may be made at the celebration or through Coldwater Funeral Home (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485).
