Douglas Roy MALVERN

Douglas Roy Malvern passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, just shy of his 83rd birthday. He was the cherished husband and friend of Brenda, nee Conron, for over 55 years. Doug was the loving father of Heather, married to Dennis, and David. He was a treasured grandfather, known as 'Poppa', to Ryker and Penelope. Doug is also survived by his brothers, Keith, married to Patt, Gord, married to Maria, and Jim, married to Catherine, as well as brother-in-law Dr. Barrie Conron, married to Sue, and nephews and their families, including Tyler, married to Steph, Jay, married to Melanie, and Noel, married to Gabi. Doug had a long career as a teacher at North Park Collegiate and a teacher-librarian at Paris District High School. He was a long-term member of Fairview United Church and active in the OSSTF organization. Family and friends will be received at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford, on Friday, June 5, 2026.
