Darryle Jean VANDERLIP

Darryle Jean Vanderlip passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of Gerald Vanderlip. Darryle was the loving mother of Jenny Kenwell and her husband Derek, and Adam Vanderlip. She was the cherished grandmother of Brandon Kenwell and Ryan Kenwell and his partner Izzy Miller. Darryle was the dear sister of Dawn Williams and was fondly remembered as 'Aunt Darryle' to Donny, Amanda Mathewson, and Sarah Williams. She was predeceased by her parents, Don and Helen Mathewson, her brother Joe Mathewson, and his wife Michele, as well as her brother Michael. Darryle will be deeply missed by her dear and longtime friend, Mary Ann Fletcher. Family and friends will be received for visitation at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre on Friday, April 24, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 25, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday, April 25, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Arthritis Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated in Darryle's memory. Cremation has already taken place, and a graveside service will be held at a future date.
