Brian George Dredge

Brian George Dredge passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 72, at the Stedman Hospice, Hankinson House, Brantford. He was the beloved husband of Lynne for 51 loving years, devoted father to Janine and Kristi, and father-in-law to Steve. Brian was a proud Poppa to Sierra. He is also survived by his sisters Diana and Sheila, and brother-in-law Ken. Brian was predeceased by his parents George and Marjorie Dredge, and in-laws Lester and Sheila Bauer. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Brian was a long-time employee of Norfolk County as a mechanic and enjoyed the outdoors, teaching his girls to fish, hunt, and garden. He was a talented woodworker and looked forward to his Timmies coffee and visits with his former co-workers. The family will receive friends and family at Thompson Mott Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. with Jason Holdsworth officiating. Interment will be at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. Donations may be made in Brian's memory to The Cancer Support & Resource Program of Norfolk or South Coast Community Caring for Cancer.
