Beverley Joan McKerrall passed away on March 21, 2026, in her 90th year. Born in 1936 in Brantford, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Michael W. and Emerald May. Beverley is survived by her children Michael Larion and his wife Linda, Pamela Clancy and her husband Jack, David Larion and his wife Marianne, Patricia Larion, and her brother Jack May. She was predeceased by her husband James McKerrall, to whom she was married for 35 years, and her brother Robert May. Beverley earned a diploma in Social Work from Mohawk College and graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work degrees. She had a successful career with the Provincial government, working for the Ministry of Community and Social Services, before retiring. After retirement, she supported her son in managing one of his restaurants and worked as a self-employed family counsellor. Beverley volunteered for many organizations, including Corrections Canada and the Chatham Kent General Hospital. She and her husband spent their retirement travelling, playing golf, and spending winters in Florida. They enjoyed entertaining friends and family, and Beverley was a renowned cook. She loved spending time with her grandchildren Kathleen, Marisa, Alana, Oliver, Lucy, and Skylar. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. The family thanks the staff at St. Joseph's Lifecare for their care of Beverley. Cremation has taken place, and she will be interred at Mount Hope Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
