Philip Rand THOMPSON

Philip Rand Thompson passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at Faith Manor Holland Christian Homes in Brampton, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara in 2021 and his son Dean. Philip is survived by his sons Rand, Scott, Craig, and Derek, his granddaughter Ryan, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be missed by the staff at HCH, his caregiver Linda, and his many friends and colleagues. Philip was born in 1929 and raised in Woodbridge, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1952 and spent 37 years working as a Professional Engineer with the federal Department of Transport before retiring in 1989. Philip was active in his community, involved with Christ Church Brampton, Boy Scouts of Canada, and other organizations.
