Nyunt Nyunt Krishna passed away on October 25, 2023, in Brampton, Ontario, at the age of 95. She was born in Kyauktaga, Burma, now known as Myanmar. Nyunt was predeceased by her two brothers, Maung Aye and Maung Win, and is survived by her three sisters, Mya, San, and Lei. She leaves behind her husband, G. A. Krishna, and children Neville K. Ananthan, Sheila Ananthan-Silva, Noel K. Ananthan, Sylvia K. Ananthan, and Stella K. Ananthan. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A private funeral service will be held on November 12, 2023, followed by a Celebration of Life at a future date.
