James Owen "Jimmy" KELLY

James Owen 'Jimmy' Kelly passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Canterbury Gardens Retirement Residence at the age of 85. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Cathie (née McLaughlin), who predeceased him. Jimmy is the cherished Dad of Sharon (Joe Missen), Michele (Tony Allen), and Yvonne O'Brien (Shawn). He is the proud Papa of Nicole, Daniel (Leane), Kayla (Cole), Liam, and Declan. Jimmy is the loving Grand-Papa of Lucas, Jerica, Kaydin, Anna, Kailyn, and Kinsley. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Redding. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, Owen and Mary Kelly. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the staff at Canterbury Gardens for their utmost care and compassion for both Cathie and Jimmy. A funeral service will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation commencing one hour prior. A reception will follow the service in the Legacy Room of the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
