The family of Doug Winter of Brampton, Ontario, announces his passing on August 27, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on March 6, 1947, Doug is remembered fondly by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Elizabeth Ann Winter; his daughters, Jennifer Ann Winter and Kelly Joanne Winter; sons-in-law, Matthew Robert Wotherspoon and Michael Meraw; and grandchildren, Eva Meraw, Noah Meraw, and Douglas Wotherspoon (Dougie). Visitation took place on September 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Emmanuel United Church, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The family appreciates memorial donations to the Test Your Limits Project Fund through the UHN Foundation.
