Denny DIAS

Denny Dias passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on December 13, 2025, following a short hospital stay. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dermel Dias, and his daughters, Debbie-Anne Dias and Carla-Mae Robbins (née Dias) (Brad), as well as many extended family members and friends. Born in Port Antonio, Jamaica, Denny was a proud Jamaican-Canadian who dedicated his life to service. He served as a Public Health Officer in The Bahamas and later as a Constable with the Toronto Police Service. A devoted member of Grace United Church, Brampton, Denny was also a Freemason, a member of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Association Male Chorus, and a respected community volunteer. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, where visitation will be held from 12:30-1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 p.m.
