Captain Peter Ross Thomas, CD, passed away on January 18, 2026, in his 88th year. He is survived by his wife Elaine (née Johnson), children Andrea (Rob Harris) and Paul (Heather Limburg), grandchildren Emalyn and Nathan Harris and Claire and Owen Thomas, and sister Leah Steele. Predeceased by his siblings Eleanor (Don) Copland, Betty (Ron) Calligan, Charmaine (Bill) Tuckey, Richard Thomas, and Rosemary (Richard) Lutz. Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford, on March 16, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 12 noon, followed by a luncheon reception.
