The family announces the passing of Doris Eileen Smellie of Bracebridge, Ontario, on October 15, 2026, at the age of 88. Doris was born on March 31, 1938. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Alexander Smellie; her parents, Jessie Nelson and William Readdy; and her stepfather, Gordon Sangwin. Doris is survived by her sons, Neil (Marianne), Ross (Lori), and Andrew (Tammy), as well as her grandchildren, Paul (Brittany), Jessie (Austin), Jane, Lauren, Nathan, Grace, and Cameron. Memorial donations may be made to Andy's House (Hospice Muskoka).
