It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Violet Deanna Grace Malda of Bowmanville, Ontario, who departed this life on October 20, 2026, at the age of 86. Violet is predeceased by her husband, Ben Malda, and her mother, Mary McDonald. She is survived by her children, John (Michelle) and Kim (Ian), along with her grandchildren, Rena (Brandon), Stephanie (Jeremy), and Kevin (Jessica). Violet also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Marshall, Charleigh, Camden, Lilly, Eleanor, Jack, and Maximus. She is remembered by her brothers, George Sundberg and Ron Sundberg, her son-in-law Bob Gaston, and her siblings, Barb Vujanovic (Vaso), Lucy Rekker (Siebe), Helen Kloos (George), and Rick Sundberg (Bonnie).
