Shirley Evelyn Jean Severn

Shirley Evelyn Jean Severn of Bowmanville, Ontario, passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on April 26, 1937, she was the beloved daughter of Harry and Leona, both of whom predeceased her. Shirley was also predeceased by her husband, Denis Severn, her brother Alan Farrow, her sister-in-law Carroll Farrow, and her sisters, Gwen Glass-Bate and Joyce. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Goode; her sons, Doug (Cathy), Keith (Sandra), and Dana (Nancy); her grandchildren, Dan (Jenna), Dylan (Kaylie), and Sarah; and her great-grandchild, Anna. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, located at 53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location, followed by a burial from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Orono Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Covenant House.
