Russell McQuaid

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Russell McQuaid of Bowmanville, Ontario, who departed this life on September 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on March 9, 1938, in Oshawa, Ontario, Russell was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Rhoda McQuaid, as well as his siblings, Alberta (Bobby), Roger, John, and Pete. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth, and their children, Rusty (Linda), Ralph, Brenda, and Garf (Kelly). Russell also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Christine, Carrie, Stephanie, Katie, Sara, Kori, Melissa, Nicky, Amy, and Kirk, along with his sisters, Kathy and Donna, and sisters-in-law, Terry, Penny (Chuck), and Anne (Bill). A celebration of life was held on October 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 3254 Maple Grove Rd, Clarington, ON L1C6M7.
