Marion (nee) Veith BRESTANSKY

Marion Brestansky (nee Veith) passed away suddenly after a brief illness in the early morning hours of March 22, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Stuttgart to Karl-Heinz and Herta Veith on April 13, 1953, she immigrated with her family to Canada in 1959. Marion met Jozef Brestansky at the age of 25, and they married in 1982, settling in Oshawa, where their two sons, Michael and Christopher, were born. Marion was a special education teacher in the Durham region, loved by her students, who called her 'Mrs. B.' She was always up for adventure, had a talent for making people feel appreciated, and was an incredible baker. Marion and her husband Jozef embraced their roles as 'Oma' and 'Opa' in the last decade, delighting in time with their grandchildren, Brody and Brianna. Marion is survived by Jozef.
