Karina Isert

Karina Isert of Bowmanville, Ontario, passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on May 10, 1942, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Karina was predeceased by her parents, Bart and Maria Verhulst, her husband Peter Isert, and her brothers Rino and Ton. She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Vladimir) and Tanya (Neil), her grandchildren, Erika (Christopher) and Sebastian, and her sister-in-law Gerrie. She also leaves behind her nephews Monty (Roseanne), Randy (Diane), and Jeff (Cheri), as well as her cousins Adrie (Robert) and Elly. A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, followed by a reception from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society, or Lakeridge Health Foundation in her memory.
