Joan Sutcliffe

Joan Sutcliffe of Bowmanville, Ontario, passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on February 15, 1941, Joan is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was predeceased by her siblings, Shirley (Kenny), Carol (Merrill), Judy (late Paul), and Elaine (Bob), as well as her parents, Fred and Thelma Vagg, her husband Ron, and her close friend Reid Cochrane. Joan is survived by her child, Allison (Robert). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Clarington East Food Bank or the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation, both of which were dear to Joan's heart. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
