Jana Tichy

Jana Tichy passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on May 4, 2026, at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of Richard Tichy for over 62 years. Jana is survived by her loving children, Rich and Andrea, Rob and Adele, and her dear sister Eva. She was predeceased by her daughter Renata in 2002. Jana will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Reid, Delaney, Maryn, Darek, and Kayden, as well as her nieces and nephews in the Czech Republic and many friends around the world. The family will receive friends at Egan Funeral Home in Bolton on Friday, August 14, followed by a memorial service in the chapel. A private interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in London. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
