Nancy Tennier

Nancy Tennier, née Cradock, of Bobcaygeon passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital on August 14, 2026, at the age of 78. She was the beloved wife of Joe Tennier, mother of Amy (Nelson) and Lee (Markus), grandmother of Daniel, Devin (Kate), Carter (Marissa), Isaak, and Isobel, and great‑grandmother of Gray, JoJo, and Rosie. She is also survived by her sister Louise (Glenn), cousins Rose and Marj, numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family. Her parents, Ted and Edith Cradock, and brother Neil preceded her in death. A longtime resident, Nancy contributed to the community through businesses such as North End Family Restaurant, Princess Restaurant, Windsong, and Nancy Knits, and was active in Trinity United Church, Knox Presbyterian Church, Community Care, Lioness, and the Bobcaygeon Food Bank. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, dancing, crafting, and singing, sharing these passions with her family. Arrangements are with Hendren Funeral Homes – Monk Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 6 Joseph Street, Bobcaygeon, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to the Community Care Foundation – Kawartha Lakes or the Royal Canadian Legion via www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or 705‑738‑3222.
