Sylvia Mary Burk

Sylvia Mary Burk of Blenheim passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 94. She was the only child of the late Dorothy and William Knight, who emigrated from England to Canada. Sylvia is survived by her children, Sandra, David, Lorraine, Michael, and Stephen, as well as her grandchildren, Andrew, Johnathan, Richard, and Sarah, and her great-grandchildren, Sam, Trent, and Jane. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph, on January 14, 2005, and her son, Gordon, in 2019. Sylvia worked at a bank in Chatham before dedicating herself to raising her family and was a member of the Trinity Anglican Church in Blenheim. Following cremation, a visitation will be held at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on July 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and a funeral service will take place on July 19 at 1:00 p.m.
