Gary Wright

Gary Wright of Chatham passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his daughters Kelly and Jennifer, and his grandchildren Keegan and Bryden. Gary was predeceased by his wife Ann, his mother Jennifer, and his brother Michael. A devoted husband and father, Gary shared a 57-year marriage with Ann, and together they cherished their family and friendships. He was a passionate enthusiast of hot rods, earning him the nickname 'Gabby Gary' among his friends and acquaintances. Gary worked as a millwright at Navistar and was known for his exceptional ability to fix almost anything. He will be remembered for his love of nature, boating, and snowmobiling, as well as his compassion for animals.
