Donald Haynes Warren

Donald Haynes Warren passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on August 13, 1931, and raised in Canfield, Ontario, he was the eldest son of Charles Warren and Florence Haynes. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Marlene Warren (nee Walsh), who died in 2023. Donald is survived by his four daughters, Rose Vanthuyne (Patrick), Melinda Carrol (John) of Alberta, Frances Warren, and Patricia Warren (Gordon) of Alberta. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stephanie, Dan, Kerry, Warren, and Corrina, as well as seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Donald was predeceased by his brothers James 'Howard' Warren, William Warren, and Edward Warren, and is survived by his sister Ruby Robinson (Al). As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. Interment for both Donald and his wife will take place at a future date during a private family gathering in Sparta. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Grand Retirement Living for their care of Donald and Marlene during their residence, as well as to the nursing staff at Chatham Kent Health Alliance for their kindness and care during his final days.
