Shirley is survived by her husband, Willard Wasson; her son, Glenn Wasson; and her sister, Norma Robertson (Doug Robertson). She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander MacDonald and Edith MacDonald. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the family's choosing.
