SHARON IRENE ANTAYA

SHARON IRENE ANTAYA (nee HALL) passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on January 15, 1946, in Belleville, Ontario, Sharon was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Brian Antaya for 47 years. She is survived by her sister, Beverley, and her late brother-in-law Karl Schiefer, as well as her loving nieces and nephews, including Erik and his wife Amanda, and Kimberley and her husband Greg. Sharon was also a cherished aunt to her great-nieces, Victoria, Morgan, Lucy, and Jane. She is also survived by her extended family, including Annie and the late Jim Schiefer, their son Jamie and his wife Alexa, and their daughter Isla, as well as Brian's sister Linda, and brothers Calvin, Wayne, and Larry, and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, the late Phyllis and Frank Hall. Sharon served in the Royal Canadian Navy and later worked in security and at Sears Head Office, Toronto, where she retired. A private family celebration of life will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that you take time to remember Sharon for her kindness, generosity, and her gentle ways.
