Survivors include her sister, Fern Girdwood; her brother‑in‑law, Don Whiteman; her sister, Shirley Whiteman; her brother‑in‑law, Brian Girdwood; and her nephews Randy Whiteman (married to Catherine), Tim Whiteman (married to Kim), Jeff Whiteman (married to Monda‑Marie) and Scott Whiteman (married to Sandra). Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart of Hastings Hospice, as directed by the family.
