Robert George Taylor

Robert George Taylor of Belleville, Ontario, passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on December 18, 1933, Robert was surrounded by family and friends throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Ruby Taylor; his wife, Margaret Arlene Taylor; his son, Albert Taylor; grandsons, Kevin Lindsay and Ira Brant; great grandchild, Rayna Trott; and brothers, William (late Stella) and James Taylor (late Audrey). Robert is survived by his children: Anna Lindsay of Kingston, Roberta Nichols (Ron) of Belleville, Darla Brant (late Harold) of Shannonville, John Taylor (late Leda) of Oshawa, and Elizabeth Kirkman (Dave) of Napanee. He also leaves behind his sister, Sheila Pepper (Norman) of Burlington, along with 40 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rushnell Funeral Homes - Belleville, located at 80 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON K8P3R4. A funeral service took place on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the same location. Memorial donations to the Heart + Stroke Foundation are appreciated by the family.
