Paula Regina Smowton

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paula Regina Smowton, who departed this life on June 16, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Paula was cherished for her compassion, friendliness, and thoughtfulness. She found joy in reading, traveling, and spending time with her beloved cats and family. Paula is survived by her husband Bryon, son Jeremy, daughters Bethaney and Siobhan, along with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa's Integrated Stroke and Supportive Care Units. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paula's memory to the Lakeridge Health Foundation Stroke Unit or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
