Michael Loizou

Michael Loizou of Belleville, Ontario passed away on August 7, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Kalliopi Loizou; his daughter, Niki Loizou; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Brody, Dylan, Elliana, Anastasio and Leonidas, as well as siblings residing in Cyprus and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Belleville, 80 Highland Avenue. A funeral service took place on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Harder Drive. He was interred at Belleville Cemetery, 631 Dundas Street West, on the same day at 12:00 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
