Marilyn Deroy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Deroy in Belleville, Ontario, on September 7, 2026. Born in Picton, Ontario, Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Neil Andrews, as well as her siblings: Allan, Norma, Beverly, Lillian, Barbara, Geraldine, Howard, Joyce, Douglas, Freeda, Kenneth, and Shirley. She also mourned the loss of her stepchildren, Randy and Rhonda Galt. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Bill Galt; her sons, Rick Deroy and Randy Deroy (Tracy); her stepson, Doug Galt; her niece, Chris Major; her grandchildren, Kailie Wilson (Kevin), Nicholas Deroy (Afia), Ashton Deroy, and Kyle Deroy; her stepgrandchildren; and her great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would have been appreciated.
