Karen Margaret Holtz

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Karen Margaret Holtz of Belleville, Ontario. Born on February 18, 1945, Karen passed away on October 7, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Gerald Brownson and Margaret Brownson; her stepson, John Havelock; and her brother, Donald Brownson. Karen is survived by her husband, Harold Holtz; her daughter, Jennifer Stephens (Kristian); her grandsons, Troy and Dylan Havelock; and her siblings, Brian Brownson (Diane) and Diane Gawley (Larry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Steele Funeral Home, located at 30 Moira St W, Belleville, ON K8P1S2. A funeral Mass took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Joseph's Church, located at 399 Victoria Ave, Belleville, ON K8N2E7.
