John Christopher Attfield

The family of John Christopher Attfield announces his passing on September 26, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on March 12, 1946, in Toronto, Ontario, John was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Ella May; daughters, Paula and Elizabeth (Timothy); the mother of his children, Mary; son-in-law, Debashish; stepsons, Keith (Derrick), Dan (Sue), and Grant (Karen); and brother, Peter. He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Ralph Attfield, and brothers, Robert and Mark. John was also cherished by his nine grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both at Eastminster United Church, 432 Bridge St E, Belleville, ON.
