Jeanette Louise Purchase

The family of Jeanette Louise Purchase of Belleville, Ontario, announces her passing on October 7, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on August 31, 1939, Jeanette is remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard Young and Marjorie Young (Greatrix) of Hungerford County, as well as her children, Patricia and Richard (Brenda Hellier). Jeanette is survived by her significant other, Laurie Burgess; her children, Donna Peever (Dean), Linda Crouch, Donald (Cindy Shiells), Wendy Gray (David), and Michael; and her sibling, Carmel Ruttan (late Al). Additionally, she leaves behind nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette's memory will be cherished by all who knew her, reflecting the connections and experiences she fostered throughout her life.
