Frederick Wilson Papke

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Frederick W. Papke, who left us on August 26, 2026, at Belleville General Hospital, in his 89th year. He was the cherished son of the late Benjiman and Mary Papke. Frederick is survived by his beloved wife, Bertha Papke, with whom he shared sixty-seven years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Gale LaBarge (Joe) and Jeff Papke, and a proud grandfather to Christopher LaBarge, Sarah LaBarge (Brent), and Makenna Cooney-Papke. He also took great joy in being a great-grandfather to Kevin, Natalie, and Hannah LaBarge. Frederick was predeceased by his siblings, Ron Papke (late Kaye) and Stan Papke (late Lois). He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Arrangements are entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME - BELLEVILLE. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Belleville General Hospital Foundation or the Arthritis Society of Canada would be appreciated.
