Fern Edna Smyth (nee Lawlor) passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on August 23, 2026, almost two months after celebrating her 97th birthday. She was dearly loved by her late husband, Tom Smyth, and her daughters, Kelly Smyth and Catherine Pauls. She will be sadly missed by her family.
