Elso Masaro

The family of Elso Masaro announces his passing on August 28, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on September 3, 1930, Elso was a beloved figure in his community. He was predeceased by his wife, Roberta Edith. He is survived by his children, Robert Masaro (Kathy) of Osgoode and Laurie Quade (Lorne) of Winchester, along with his grandsons, Andrew and Paul Masaro, and Matthew Zanutta (Justine) and Michael Zanutta (Jessica). Elso also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Gianna, Laiken, Matteo, and Cohen Zanutta, his brother Rino Masaro (Louise) of Squamish, BC, and his sister-in-law Christina Golding (late Phillip) of Guelph. Visitation took place on September 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Burke Funeral Home, 150 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3B9. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
